GEM London will be holding a day on Working with KS3/4 Pupils in Museums on Friday 26 November.
Details will be mailed out in September.
We are delighted that the National Army Museum at Cheslea has kindly agreed to host the event. NAM runs a very successful education programme for KS3/4 and will provide one of the case studies.
Do YOU also run a busy KS3/4 programme?
I'm looking for a small number of case studies from other institutions on successful work in this sector.
Don't be embarassed about your success! If you feel you could give a short 30 min presentation I would be very intersted to hear from you.
Delegates will be interested to hear about:
* strategies you used to entice classes out of school
* examples of how you perhaps worked closely with teachers
* sustainability in real terms
* evaluation
* advice and practical strategies on how to develop a service
This is a consisently popular request for training. If you are out of region but would still be happy to give a presentation please do still contact me because I do have a travel budget.
Best wishes
