Can I ask if the student is expected to use the International Phonetic
Alphabet as this has symbols that are not readily available on a Windows
computer but can be downloaded from
http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?site_id=nrsi&id=encore-ipa
If so I found this link as I was interested in the concept of sounds to
Braille cells.

in black print and in Braille
Do hope it helps.

Subject: Phonetic Translation
I am looking for some software which can be utilised by a Braille user for
carrying out phonetic translation of text in his linguistics course. Any
suggestions gratefully received.
