Absolutely not. As Kath said, this is so unlikely to be approved that the
student's expectations should not be raised. Whilst I agree that sometimes one
should make a special case, it is a good general principle to avoid asking for
what one knows is not going to be approved 'on the off chance' as it only
weakens one's argument when one wants to make that special case.
