Hi there folks
I am fact finding for the moment as Queen’s is currently documenting
Guidelines for Placement Learning.
My query is regarding Deaf students who are rehearsed in BSL and are going
on placement overseas, to America for example? Obviously, ASL has
different dialect? Has anyone any experience with this issue before?
I would also welcome comments from anyone who is willing to share any
scenarios that have developed in relation to students with disabilities on
International Placement. In case there is anything I have left out in my
feedback to the Consultative group. I have been reading the current
Medical Insurance debate and have included this in my feedback.
If anyone wishes to, please email off-list: [log in to unmask]
Kind Regards
David
