Teachers in the London area interested in learning braille music, may like to look at the following:- (This is a downloadable Word file by the way.)

There are many rumours afoot suggesting that learning braille music is close to studying rocket science. This could not be further from the truth. You do need to know the basics of music, but inside a couple of hours you will be able to recognise simple melodies in braille.
It is anticipated that the above course may be oversubscribed, but please don't let that put you off applying. Others will follow. And if you don't live in commuting distance of London, and are interested, please let the organisers know, as they may consider similar courses elsewhere if there is a demand.
