The University of York is wanting to implement a VLE and is currently
exploring various VLE packages.
Obviously, accessibility is going to be a big issue as by it's nature, a
VLE is going to mean that there will be a lot of teaching resources online.
I've read a lot of the stuff on TechDis about VLEs and their implications
for accessibility, but I'd be interested in hearing about any experiences
you may have had with VLEs in your own institutions. For example, have
students had difficulties using the VLE and how have these problems been
overcome?
Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated!
