Hi Jennison
At the moment we're collecting student data solely from the UK, as the
project was funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England and
the Northern Ireland equivalent (the name of which escapes me). The UK
system is sufficiently different from that of other countries to warrant a
focus on the situation here.
However, we're interested in learning from the experiences of staff and
students in other countries, particularly in relation to good practice, so
we're gathering reports and papers relating to disabled psychology students
worldwide, and will soon be making contact with some overseas professional
associations (e.g., APA). If you or anyone can point us to relevant work
done outside the UK, we'd love to hear about it!
And of course our outputs - reports and guides - will be available to
people outside the UK for downloading from our website, and we hope they'll
be found useful there too.
Hope this answers your questions - if not, please feel free to contact me
off-list!
Cheers
