The course will run from Tuesday to Saturday, Sorry about the confusion. I
will have to chat to my colleagues about uusing your experience as
qualification for teaching as we definitely wanted teaching qualifications
like a 7307 or 7407.

Hello Mary.
Just seeking clarification about the June course(s).
Does the Notetakers run for the full 5 days (Monday being Bank Holiday)and
so take up Saturday as well?
Also, the tutor course: Claire Shanks says to do this and run the course
with LOCN accrediation you need a teaching qualification. I have sevreral
years experience as a trainer (10 years latterly as a Disability Trainer
with regional tourist boards in the North of England.) Could this count as
I would like to do it?

There are places still available on Note taking courses in June at the City
Lit
For Note takers there is a course 1st to 5th June 10.00 to 5.00 at Connaught
Hall, 41 Tavistock Square, London WC1H 9EH The cost is £95.00. There is a
LOCN Certificate at Level 3 For application form email [log in to unmask]
For Note taking Tutors there is a one day course on 19 June at the same
address from 10.00 to 4.00. Cost £95.00. This will enable you to run our
Note taking course and gives a good basis for all note taker training.
