It is my understanding that the speechtherapy is considered a health or
medical treatment such as physiotherapy, medication, spectacles and is the
reposibility of the health authority. These treatments would not be eligible for
support from DSA.
Incidentally, neither is special dietary requirements. LEAs are (apparently)
not to approve allowances for food for diabetic students.
Please note that this is my understanding, not my view - it's not even an
opinion!!!
