RNIB Post-Compulsory Education and Training (PCET) Officers run a number of training courses aimed at professional staff who work alongside blind and partially sighted learners. The courses run from our centres in Bristol, Birmingham, Liverpool, London and Leeds.
Topic areas include enabling technology, transition into FE/HE and employment, implications of visual impairment within a learning environment, good practice in supporting blind and partially sighted learners, work experience, role of learning support assistants, and advocacy and empowerment.
