Hi Julia,
Here at The RNC we specialise in VI work.
From our experience in carrying out both usability and accessibility
evaluation programmes over a number of years, we and our learners have found
Supernova and Jaws the most effective & user friendly.
We do run, both here in Hereford and on client sites, a full programme of
Assistive Technology training seminars for both teaching staff and learners.
We will also do full accessibility and use assessment evaluations on any
programme you are considering for use with VI learners.

Subject: specialist software for VI users
I'd be grateful if someone could point me to a comparative summary of the
virtues or otherwise of specialist software for visually impaired students.
I know I've read various reviews on this forum but can't locate them at
present.
