I would look at Kurzeil 3000 It does have Italian voices and I think
they seem to be of agood quality though it would be useful to get a
native speaker to check this
Hope this Helps

Subject: Italian Text to Speech {OCC Scanned}
Dear all
Can anybody suggest a cheap and cheerful way of sending text to good
quality italian speech...
I have a student who's got Texthelp Gold but has found the L & H Italian
add-in of disappointing quality...
Any help would be appreciated..
