It may be worth speaking to GEWA as they have several solutions for example
the Mobile Phone GEWA PROG 111 remote control set or The GEWA Jupiter UK
telephone that has been modified for hands free access. Tel: 01296 393223

Subject: panic device
dear colleagues
can anyone advise re an emergency device that is voice activated (or
alternative). We have a student on Edge Hill campus who has 24 hour support
needs but wants to spend time alone in his room but cannot operate the usual
type panic buttons worn round the neck, or access a telephone.
His movement is very limited without support but we want to enable as much
independence and choice as possible.
would be gratefu for all contributions.
regards
Hazel
