All students who receive ' support' in some form from us or wish us to
apply for the DSA for them sign to give us permission to alter the
database for statistical purposes. With every assessment of need that
we receive in the office the database is altered to show they receive a
DSA, it seems to be a good way of getting the stats in. There will
always be some that fall through if we dont receive a copy of their
assessment of need but at least it gives us some way of updating
information.

Hello,
Having recently been audited for evidence of students who are in
receipt
of DSA it has drawn my attention to the difficulties we face with
encouraging students to share this with us. I would be grateful to
hear
how other institutions manage this requirement to ensure that
institution records are up-to-date?
Many thanks in anticipation.
