Hello There. At the University of Kent we are piloting a trial to evaluate
the method in a student and a member of staff. The feedback so far is
positive. The method stressed on visualisation of words and semantic
meanings, balancing and modelling. Forgive my brief summary. It is
interesting. This method can also be related to Lacan's type of psychiatric
experiments about self image (the ego image and the image of the ego). It
stressed on finding out a focal point, by visualising it. It is still an
early age to have a definite evaluation of the method. It needs to be tested
and this is what we are doing at Kent. The organisers are very professional.
One area that I find out to be particularly interesting is Davis' hypothesis
about the speed of visual processing of the dyslexic brain (in his book).
Hope this helps, Andy Velarde Disability Coordinator University of Kent at
Canterbury
