Hi Sally,
Here at TVU we also have TextHelp which I think is very useful and I
would also recommend that you think about students with poor vision, so
how about a screen enlargement programme such as Zoomtext, Bigshot or
Lunar?
You don't have to have very much of a visual impairment for reading a
standard computer screen to be difficult.
Regards
Pauline

Subject: assisted software
Hello,
At The Institute of Cancer Research we are in the process of making
changes
following amendments to the DDA. At present there is no assistive
technology on the pcs in the library, which students access. This is a
cause for concern for dyslexic students.
I have read that a package called Inspiration is particularly useful.
Can anyone recommend any other software packages that may be apt.
Many thanks.
