correct: - or mostly correct anyway, dropdowns can be forced to be
accessible by using methods other than javascript (the usual way of
achieving this) but there is a good deal of dependance on the end user
having up to date access technology, knowing how to use it (few have
adequate training) and being on the look out for such things. conclusion
technicly possible but far from good practice.

Subject: websites
Please forgive a rather "techi" question, but can I ask if anyone can
advise me about drop down menus on WebPages? I am being pushed to
introduce these to our website in place of the left border and my
feeling is that they are not supported by screen readers?
