Sorry - they are attached this time!
As I have had so many requests for these guidelines, I am sending them
to the list - sorry to those of you who don't want them!
I have already sent these to many people who have requested them, but at
least 4 were bounced back.
Please see below for my comments.
Cheers
Esther

Subject: Amanuensis Guidelines
Hi Everyone
Here are the guidelines. They were drawn up about 3 years ago now, so
may need updating. (I also have all these in Welsh, if anyone needs
them!?).
Whilst you are free to use them to create your own guidelines, I would
appreciate it if you could acknowledge these as a source, as they were
drawn up as part of a project at The University of Wales, Bangor.
Obviously, some of the guidelines for arranging the support are quite
specific to Bangor, but there may be some more general points that are
useful too.
I would also add that here at Access Summit, we recommend either 25% or
50% additional time for students using amanuenses, as 25% is sometimes
not enough. This depends on the student's needs (eg. speed of
processing, difficulties with speech, etc).
Cheers
Esther
