It may not be an issue of consent, as said previously this could be regarded
as domestic purposes, however, it would be advisable for the school to
inform parents that they were permitting filming/photography and to say that
the recordings should be for domestic purposes only, and not shared with
other organisations. My main concern would be that parents could pass the
images on to the local paper or other organisation and there may be children
whose identity needs to be protected if they have been the victim of
domestic abuse. Informing them that images may be taken would give them the
opportunity to object or keep the child away from the concert.
