Ok, I am, of course, somewhere to the right of Attila the Hun. I have been
known to read the Telegrope. And I oppose ID cards totally! And was not
asked in the poll!
I hate peer pressure to conform, too!

Hi Flooze,
You always keep the good ones for a Friday
I think you will probably find opposition to id-cards is more of a
middle-class
radicolibertarianredwine thing. Like in this group for example ;-) Sort
of
Guardian type readers if you get the direction of my logic (yeah ok, there
are Torygraph readers listers in the group who from time to time appear to
follow traditional Concservative civil liberties which basically amount to
keeping the riff-raff away from them and in its rightfull place and no
more).
Unless you trully believe that we are *all* middle class now, you will
probably find there will be general indiference to ID-Cards. Cards will
reduce crime, keep immigrants away 'n all that cheap political talk which
will have a larger than you think appeal.
Just a 2 cent (Euro) coin of thoughts.
And in case I forgot to offend the "Times" readers. Go get a real paper.
Friiiiiidayyyyyyyy.
Charles
I shall now duck.
