"Youth" is collective for both sexes but esp. males! (quoting from
Collins)
"youth everywhere is rising in revolt!" (Old English) So its nothing new
Tim!
Sorry can't remember what the original question was! But it is Friday.

What a civilised part of the world you live in. We have Neanderthals of
both genders (I think so anyway) who communicate in grunts. Happy
Friday!
Oh there are also boys and girls. There must be. Somewhere.
For the legal minded, "Why isn't 'shoplifting' always 'theft'?"

Sorry about C) - an abberation, I didn't even realise I'd said it, some
of
my best friends are women, nobody who knows me would think I was sexist.
Maybe I was misguided when the enquirer called them "youths" - round our
way
girls are still called girls.
In answer to the theft question, there is a difference and shoplifting
is
still a civil offence, theft is criminal.
