I looked as well and saw the same - even if it is accurate it's a very
aggressive style which in itself gives cause for concern. I did sign up and
searched for information about myself and found nothing. So I searched again
for someone rather more high profile than a humble DP Officer in the NHS ...
namely Tony Blair. Nothing. I suspect it's better populated with data about
our US cousins.

I've have just looked at this site, although I haven't signed into it, (and
I've just about picked my chin off the floor 10 minutes later!!) and went
into the FAQs. I copy one of the FAQs below:
"I NOTICED THAT YOU HAVE SOME OF MY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION, SUCH AS MY
FIRST AND LAST NAME, BUSINESS NAME, AND/OR MY EMAIL ADDRESS AVAILABLE AT
YOUR WEBSITE. I NEVER AUTHORIZED THIS AND I DEMAND THAT IT BE REMOVED.
You have no right to demand that your identifying information be removed
from this website. Any of your identifying information found at this website
was put there by one of this website's users. We are under no obligation to
remove this information, and doing so would defeat this whole purpose of
this website.
We know that some individuals do not like the idea of people talking about
them behind their back, but the simple matter of fact is that people have
the right to talk about you whenever and wherever they choose.
Our website is not subject to privacy related laws that regulate banks and
credit reporting companies. Please do not send us email saying that your
attorney told you that we had to take your identifying information off of
this website, because we have studied US law back and forth as it relates to
this website and we know this not to be the case. Any attorney that tells
you this is simply misinformed."
I find this particular statement incredible - any others want to comment?
Paula

Subject: Information Sharing Web Sites
A friend showed me this site: https://shareyourexperiences.com/
On it he found people who allege that they "have information about him". It
seems to have set itself up as an information exchange, though it is quite
possible that the information exchange may be untrue.
I suspect that anyone logging in to it shares ipso facto some information
about themselves with the world, so I have not done so. Does a braver soul
have any comments (or perhaps experiences they would like to share) for or
against this type of site?
One could extend this conversation to services like Plaxo and Spoke in Touch
as well, of course.
