I may be missing something here, but under what circumstances should the
Durant ruling *not* be followed? Given the type of ruling and the outcome I
though that it was here to stay (until another ruling changes things again,
anyway).
In the words of Richard Thomas "[post Durant] the vast majority of paper
based filing systems fall outside the Data Protection Act".
