I'm getting a deluge, but not from this list. Our DMA filter has had to be tweaked and now it's stopped. There was a new virus announced in the last few days which is a real self-replicating nuisance. Tim's got a good point. Keep your software up to date. Also, if you haven't explored getting a "spy-ware" killer, you should. I loaded "Spy-bot" and found 75 Trojan horses all busily telling who knows who what about my computer use. And my computer is much faster. It's from spy-bot.net and is free and was recommended by a consultant we use. You may want to check other alternatives. There are lots of them. I run Spy-bot once a week and generally find I've accumulated about 10 or 12 new spywares, even though my ISP is terrific and I get NO spam. I never download anything I don't check for viruses and only from known sources. I have no idea how they, or the damn pop-ups get there.

Is anyone else getting a deluge this morning from email addresses that would
be logical members of this list?
If so I think we ought to remember that viruses usually clone email
addresses and we tend not actually to send them out, even though the "from
address" often appears to be our own.
I know 99% of us are corporate users. May I remind those with independent
machines to make sure their virus definitions are up to date, please?
