And also students may require residential accommodation (on or off
site), use of sports and other facilities, access to libraries etc.
Unlike staff they are not under the direct
control/management/supervision of someone else but are free agents.
Their disability may or may not have implications for other staff and/or
students in some of these situations. We have recently had a case where
the disability of one student appeared to have had a major impact on the
lives of other students in accommodation.
