Here's an interesting (I hope) question:
To what extent should someone who sells things on ebay (not just the odd
boot-sale stuff, but a regular stream of two or three things a day) be
registered? And what comeback should I expect to be able to rustle up if
(as one just did to me) they start spamming their old customers with
irrelevant offers.
Of course, it's just possible it's a joe-job, as this person seems to
get regular negative feedback for selling things with undisclosed
strings attached, and has dissatisfied customers [about whose negatives
they then lie in feedback]; but I'd like to follow up the general
principles involved.
(I'm due to meet their ISP's abuse manager in my day-job, tomorrow.
Could be interesting!)
