I had a small involvement in DP stuff in a previous job. I became more interested
in it after i was treated badly by that employer.
I like to read this group to remain informed on issues arising from data
protection.
Clearly, i'm no expert on the legislation and won't pretend otherwise. So,
reading comments from those who are is interesting.
In addition, i feel companies often hide behind this legislation (for example,
i made a SAR to my former employer and was told they'd lost my employee
file. I don't believe them and one day, i'll find a way of insisting they
find it or explain their actions to a judge).
