I have been speaking to ParcelForce about non-delivery of a parcel and I
wanted to confirm that it was on the van today. Before they would tell me
the girl said 'For Data Protection purposes, please can you give me your
postcode'. When I supplied it she said 'Yes'(it was on the van, I
assumed). Surely, I could find the postcode of any address and make a
similar enquiry - though why I would want to escapes me for the moment!
My postcode isn't much of a check I feel for anything, except my address,
not who I am.
