This is the wrong fix, even if it works, and will cause other problems.
The real fix is for the list operators to unsubscribe the guilty party,
and for everyone else to learn to use deficient auto-reply mechanisms, or
clients with them. Broken autoresponders are not acceptable on any email
list.
Meantime, all posters (I guess I will get one soon too) know Helena is
away, probably where she works, when she's back, and that her office and
home are likely unattended. If you're feeling malicious and you know
she's the only person who deals with SARs or FoI requests, it suppose it
would be a good opportunity to stick one or two in and have maybe a week
or two of the time limit pass before she even gets to look at them.
