Yeah, we've had our fingers lightly singed by OIC over this one -
particularly over correspondence with internal lawyers. We have now
adopted the position that only correspondence directly requesting or
receiving legal advice is covered by this exemption. Anything related to
establishing or communicating factual information, for example, is not
excluded.

Does anyone have experience in using the exemption of Legal Professional
Privilege (sch 7 . 10) for not disclosing correspondence with solicitors
in the case of a Subject Access Request?
It is not clear to me whether this can count as a blanket exemption for
all correspondence with solicitors.
Any legal experts out there?
