Too much Friday ... going the other way.
Emma has been brave to put her head above the parapet. It is a sign of
professionalism of the list (allegiance to a colleague) that noone is
prepared to ask the obvious.
Why was the post code or any other personal information necessary?
It does not matter why the 17 year old assistant did or did not know the
lesson. I can see how - vaguely - it could be used to prevent fraud ... but
only as a deterrent, as any capable fraudster will supply false information.
