I suspect the anti virus software inserts it automatically. And they expect
viral marketing to happen. Interesting paradox. Now I do sometimes pass on
stuff I think is interesting, but it is almost never the marketing element.
Does someone whose organisation deploys this stuff know if it can be turned
off, and what parameters may be added? Eg by individual? By Opt-In only?

I see adverts in footers from spam/virus checking suppliers all the time.
Why do people need to say *which* system their email has been scanned by -
it's advertising pure and simple.
