Couple of quick questions focusing on an individual privacy aspect on this
threatening Tuesday afternoon. The 450-650 police camped in the backyard,
and at 20 yard intervals down the surrounding roads, together with the
helicopter hovering overhead have now gone from here following the capture
of the two suspected murderers, but dark rain clouds seem to be coming in
from Derbyshire.
When reviewing published privacy policies, do those responsible for DP
within organisations match any changes back to any
notifications/CoP/principles/data subjects?
If proposed changes to a privacy policy would affect data already collected,
is reliance placed upon Schedule 1, Part 2, 2(1)(b) with the onus on the
data subject to notice the policy changes, or are other means used?
What criteria are used to determine the most appropriate route to take?
What ethical considerations impinge on any deliberations?
