Yes, I posted a recipe last week (and then got slapped off-list by
someone who hadn't read it properly, so I slapped back...)
Meanwhile: from a long association with virtual communities (going back
20 years now) I'm very much aware that people are nervous about
contributing because they fear making a fool of themselves, or (despite
the verbose footers) unintentionally making their employer liable for
any gaffes. My own defence mechanism is to only post when I'm 110% sure
of what I'm saying; and yet be polite and humble when people claim to,
or actually do, catch me out.
