My son was playing cricket the other week and last week one of his work colleagues had picked up a free magazine - "What's on in the Scottish Borders" magazine, anyway he was looking through it and there was a photo of my son playing. Anyway, I phoned up the magazine to try and get the proof as it was a good photo. I was asked why I wanted it and explained to keep for posterity as it was my son and the journalist said he would have to ask the photographer's permission....to which I nearly said my son had not given consent to have the picture published but as I wanted the proof I didn't. As he was playing on a public pitch I presume they can just print???? Any thoughts??
