Can you help?
I have a closed Anti-Social Behaviour case between an owner occupier and a
tenant of ours.
The owner occupiers are due to sell their property and have disclosed to
the buyer that there is a history of Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) from the
tenant. The buyer will be contacting us for more info.
We had used the ASB along with other breaches of tenancy in defending an
application by the tenant to stay a warrant for eviction in the County
Court. We were unsuccessful and the tenant remains in the property. There
have been no further reports of ASB since July 03 and the owner occupiers
have confirmed that the tenants behaviour has changed.
What and how much information can I disclose to an enquiry from the buyer?
Any guidance you can provide on this issue will be most useful.
I really do need advice today.
Thanks
