The thing is, really it ought not to matter. And, as we are discovering
with our clients, Binding Corporate Rules ensure that it does not matter.
An organisation worth its salt should be able to respond to any data request
or data subject complaint wherever it is in the world, and do so with
competence and speed.
It should not be a matter of "rights", it should be a matter of pride.

And me too. If the data controller is UK based, the DPA applies, and there
is no limitation/exemption on the data subject access rights depending on
their location.
