How do they know he wants to go to the conference? And in what capacity?
Surely the very fact that he's somehow expected to be there must imply
some previous consent to the application for a pass?
If it's to man one of the stands in the exhibition hall, that says
nothing whatsoever about the attendee's political views.
I've covered all three conferences as a salesperson or lobbyist, and
never has my attendance confirmed my politics are for or against the
organisers.
