The discussion regarding journalists earlier this week prompted me to review
my reading material in that area.
Clearly in the UK, the Calcutt and National Heritage Committee reports
provide some official material, but is any list member able to recommend
quality material which media/press DPO's find of particular value which
would provide a wide collation of views of the inherent paradoxes in this
area.
E.g.
The Law of Privacy and the Media
by Michael Tugendhat, Iain Christie
The Journalist's Handbook on Libel and Privacy
by Barbara Dill
Voyeur Nation: Media, Privacy, and Peering in Modern Culture
by Clay Calvert
Privacy and Press Freedom
by Raymond Wacks
