I agree no harm and little distress but that was not the point I made to
the IC. I find it hard to believe that I am the only person whose data are
being abusd by this company in this way - especially as their explanation
seemed to be a matter of policy.
If they are prepared to abuse personal data how far does that abuse go? I
don't know the answer any more than I knew they were extracting data from
cheques without admitting so. They need to be reminded, therefore, of their
responsibilities before they go too far. That is all I've asked the IC to
do.
