I wonder if that would be taxable as a benefit in kind? And if so if it
would be taxable whether one took up the "offer" or not?

Colleagues,
This is particularly aimed at HEI's, but all responses welcomed.
Do any Universities waive the £10 fee for DPA subject access requests from
members of staff? This issue has arisen via our Joint Union
representatives who are indicating that a number of institutions do this .
There are issues of equity to consider but I would welcome feedback on
whether any HEI's do this at present.
