There has not been much doubt over what the Court of Appeal said, and what
should therefore be followed.
Most of the discussions undertaken regarding that decision seemed to me to
have been over the wider implications to DP in the implementation of that
decision, or varied interpretations of it, which seems a worthwhile and
useful debate to all the parties concerned. And which relates directly back
to broad/narrow viewpoints utilised by the various social groups in their
perceptions and practices of privacy, which forms my own interest area.
