A red herring which could have filtered much of this discussion from many
members of the list.
Under the common law upholding those rights is most difficult if not
impossibly beyond the reach of most individuals. Conceptually, within the
EEA under the DP Directive they should be much simpler to understand and
cheaper to uphold/progress, assuming any cctv footage was shown to contain
identifiable personal data. (Durrant notwithstanding.)
