Hi All
Adult who is unable to give consent. Father wants access to all his files and these go back many years. Was in foster care until 18 when father took him back. There is potentially harm/distress issues as well as father not having legal guardianship - it is a minefield. I am of the view that as there is no legal guardianship we do not need to disclose and it would cause the son harm/distress. Can any of you thnk of any reasons we could be sued for not disclosing? Father probably wants to take legal proceedings.
Your thoughts ever appreciated.
