Hi all
there may be hope at last on this issue for me, see text below. I can see
the giant SAGE starting to sway at the knees - watch this space for the
fall. If they come up trumps I will sing their praises and buy all my books
from them in future - honest ;-)

Dear Marcus,
Thank you for your email regarding inspection copies. Firstly, please
accept our sincere apologies for our failure to arrange an electronic copy
when you contacted our customer services department. I have forwarded your
email regarding this matter to the Head of Customer Services.
I am in the process of investigating the arrangement of an electronic
version to you. I will contact you later this week to give you more details
on this.
Please feel free to contact me should you have any queries,
Kind Regards,
Sue Thirsk
