Apologies to NADPO members for the cross-posting.
I have been advised that a TV company wishes to shoot footage in our main
CCTV Control room as well as interviewing one of our elected members.
While I'm happy that the EM can consent to the interview and sign away
whatever he wishes I am concerned about footage recorded in the CCTV room.
We have already said that we wish to have an approval process prior to
transmission, destruction rights over non-used footage and compliance with
DPA.
I'm also concerned about the potential security issues it raises as regards
location and for the individual staff members.
Has anyone else had experience of this? Any useful advice to offer,
gotcha's to look out for etc?
Regards
Steve Humberstone
