I would agree with Kirsty - employees of the data controller are classed as
data processors not third parties (aren't they?!)

That's an interesting point. I can't find a reference to this at the
minute (although the official Data Protection website is rather painful
to use, so it may well be there somewhere!) Do you have a reference to
this?
