It must be Friday, because a disclosure can still take place as the data are
likely to have been processed. If the other people retrieving their post do
not need access to your home address to carry out their legitimate duties the
employer is disclosing personal data for non-work purposes.
However, most staff would not object to other employees knowing their home
address and so a complaint would be unlikely . . . unless of course a member of
staff was trying to secure a date with you or wanted to "get you later."
I suspect the information on the envelope should be the minimum necessary,
perhaps the person's name and their department/section.
