Thank you all for your replies - glad I didn't disclose now. This is an
issue I may have to highlight to area offices as a clerical assistant may
feel intimidated by the presence of the Police and feel that they should
just give the information. Luckily, on this occasion they checked with me
although the person I spoke to did say that they have given information out
previously.
