Subject: Support overseas
Hello All
A student at this uni will be attending a Spanish uni for a language
placement. She needs social support, i.e a companion who can assist her
with travel, be with her in a strange city, and basically be her
'friend'. DSA for this kind of help is obviously not straightforward,
but we are looking at ways in which the student can assisted.
Does anyone have experience of students needing support on overseas
placements which might enlighten us?
yours
Anna Packham
